Hans Herzberg, age 97, beloved husband of the late Ilse Herzberg for 66 wonderful years. Loving father of Joan (Michael) Schaller and Barbara Faermark; much loved Poppa of Deborah (Richard) Wallace and Rachel (Kurt Asprooth) Schaller; cherished great grandfather of Alex. Hans was a Holocaust Survivor and proud WWII Army veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star. Chapel service Friday, 10:00 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 Rand Road, Arlington Heights.
